Dr. Most called Anita 7/28 to follow up on appointment from 7/26/18.
- Dr. Most showed pictures of grandpa’s face to 2 dermatologists. Both say he has a staph infection and a fungal infection.
- Immediately discontinue cream (if not already done so)
- Informed that cream was stopped 7/26/18 PM.
- Needs antibiotic and possibly a cream right away.
- Most cant call this in, only PCP. She will ensure Kolli calls it in Monday.
- Delyn will follow up Monday.
- DO NOT PICK FACE, very contagious, grandma cant share towels or anything. Do not shave.
- Most is looking into any other possibilities for treatment instead of chemo, as she could tell grandpa was hesitant. Wants to find a less invasive treatment.
- Most working on re-approving bone infusion
- Most wants to see grandpa in 2 weeks
- Discussed need for new PCP
- Concerned about changing due to possible loss of current authorizations.
Follow ups:
- Appt scheduled for 8/9
- Antibiotic called in by Kolli (at 5pm), grandma had neighbor take her to pick it up
