• PSA Levels:
  • 407.8 (drawn 6/11/18)
  • Last PSA 204.8 in April 2018
• Receptionist requested hospital records today
• Discussed pain, Grandpa takes Aleeve for pain since Norco doesn’t work.
  • Dr. Most prescribed Percocet.
    • Says to take 1 at night, and 1 during day for breakthrough pain
• Dr. Most concerned with pulmonary nodules (located at bottom of lung)
  • Wants to get CT scan of lungs to see full spread, but only if decided on chemo
• Zytiga and Xtandi are considered “androgen depravation therapy”
  • Basically deprives cancer of the hormones that feed the cancer
• Dr. Most is recommending to do chemo (Taxotere) with Prednisone.
  • Chemo would be once every 3-4 weeks as tolerated
  • Side effects: hair loss, nausea, fatigue
  • Would not do full dosage due to age
• Chemo could arrest growth for 6-12 months, but then would most likely begin growing again
• Grandpa wants to wait on doing chemo, wants to think about it
• Receiving Zomada injections to help with bone pain and bone growth
